We were told "Kurt" had liver disease, heart disease, twisted pancreas and advised to have him "put to sleep". Instead, we travelled 998 kms in one day and sought the advice of another vet. To cut a long story short, he had a bad case of pancreatitus. After his pancreatitis attack, I studied the internet for a natural cure for him.
